Postdoctoral Association

The Boston College Postdoctoral Association (¾«Æ·vAÆ·ÌìÌÃÃÜÌÒPDA) promotes the professional, social, and family well-being of postdoctoral fellows from all ¾«Æ·vAÆ·ÌìÌÃÃÜÌÒ departments. The purpose of the ¾«Æ·vAÆ·ÌìÌÃÃÜÌÒPDA is:

To promote the professional training and career preparation of its members

To promote peer interactions and support among the ¾«Æ·vAÆ·ÌìÌÃÃÜÌÒ postdoctoral community

To serve as liaison between its members and the administration of ¾«Æ·vAÆ·ÌìÌÃÃÜÌÒ

To introduce new postdoctoral fellows to the ¾«Æ·vAÆ·ÌìÌÃÃÜÌÒ community

To provide liaison between ¾«Æ·vAÆ·ÌìÌÃÃÜÌÒ postdoctoral fellows and other postdoctoral associations in Massachusetts and in the United States

The ¾«Æ·vAÆ·ÌìÌÃÃÜÌÒPDA regularly organizes conferences and talks on topics of interest to its membership. In addition, the ¾«Æ·vAÆ·ÌìÌÃÃÜÌÒPDA has an ongoing Knowledge Dissemination Program to financially support the dissemination of its members’ original and independent scholarly work.
